I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
We traded our Ohio stomping grounds for a weekend at the lake to celebrate the extra long weekend. We also went camping at
Indiana Dunes National Park and explored their Lakeshore. It was such a fun weekend!
Here are a few things I want to remember from this trip...
*Mallorie climbing up the 3 Dune Challenge besides me until she'd get exhausted, and would deliberately step right in front of me to bring me to a halt with her. I have no idea where she gets her competitiveness from!:D
* Kyle's cute smile as he hiked up the Dunes with Madison strapped up to him (those hills were so steep!).
* Hayden, our resident collector, was thrilled to find buried treasures along the beach. As soon as she was done with the hike, she tucked her coins in a sleeve of her National Parks passport.
* Madison's favorite new thing at the beach is throwing sand. On the bright side, she did abandon her car-ride screaming and has graduated to big-girl status! So, I'll take it!
