I just wanted to stop in today and share one of my current favorites that has taken over my wardrobe & more importantly is making a huge breakthrough in the lives of countless lives in Africa. It's this darling satchel bag by Love41. Have you heard of them?
In short, they make unique handmade pieces to give aid & help change the lives of the families devastated by the 1994 Rwandan genocide {which took the lives of over one million men, women & children in less than 90 days}.
It all began when Suzette Munson, founder of Love41, first visited Rwanda in 2010, and saw the devastation in the region, the suffering of the people and the children longing for love!
Soon after returning from her visit to Rwanda, she knew she needed to DO SOMETHING to benefit the people of Rwanda. And, so she asked her sister, Tina, (who works for Saddleback Leather) to join her in starting Love41. A nonprofit organization that directly benefits the people in Rwanda with 100% of their profits. What’s not to love about that?
