Modest is the new chic

So I have come to the conclusion that modest is the new chic. Is it just me, or is it getting easier to be modest while still retaining your inner fashionista? Maxi skirts are super trendy right now and I'm sure their main comeback to society is not solely to promote modesty, but I feel like the world is starting to shift towards it. So embrace your inner modest self :D!

Here is my simple little Black and Cream Outfit. I bought this cream maxi dress months ago and it is a tank top dress , so personally , I would have to pair it with a Jacket, cardigan or in this case: put a Peplum top over it. I love the sophistication this adds. This is way more chic than just pairing it with a cardigan(In my opinion). I added the Belt because I felt that it needed a little continuation of color.I'm sure you could have done a pop of color but I was going for timeless chic.
